Fundraising
We’ve got loads of great ideas and inspiration to help you set up or take part in fundraising events.

Fundraise with us
Are you a corporate, community group or a supporter who wants to raise money for our important work?
Why not get together with friends, colleagues or family to arrange your own event. Your fundraising is so much appreciated by us. It enables us to increase our reach and impact and help the increasing numbers of children and young people who need this.
You will have your own ideas, whether it is afternoon tea, a picnic in the park, taking part in a challenge event, having supper with your friends or organising a mindful walk.
We are here at every stage to ensure that you have everything that you need for your fundraising event so feel free to contact us on fundraising@mulberrybush.org.uk
Thank you so much for your support
Ready to start?
Email fundraising@mulberrybush.org.uk if you would like the following
- Mulberry Bush t-shirts
- Mulberry Bush balloons
- Mulberry Bush pens
- Donation boxes
If you are taking part in a challenge event, we can send you Mulberry Bush vests.
Are you a corporate or school?
The Mulberry Bush Charity works to transform the lives of people troubled and traumatised as children, often as a result of abuse and neglect. By breaking the cycle of generational patterns of difficulty and poor life chances, your fundraising can help many of the most vulnerable members of society live their best lives.
The following are examples of how the money could be spent.
- Our school, ensuring that our children have the best experience that we can provide them with during their three years with us. Over the last few years this has included the refurbishment of the residential houses and our ‘Great Outdoors’ appeal.
- Our ever-expanding Outreach and Training programmes for special and mainstream schools and the Criminal Justice System.
- Provision of therapeutic environments for others who need them.
- Research
- Our consultancy service
- Supporting UK & International therapeutic communities and other child-centred organisations working in childhood trauma
- Leading initiatives to share knowledge, experiences and best practice
We must cherish, listen, love and help young people in any way we can, to make the step to maturity become easier as they grow through childhood to teenage years…. after all, they will be the adults who will make a difference to our world.
You can get together with staff across your company, having fun whilst either taking part in a challenge event or organising your own fundraising initiatives knowing that you are making a difference.
This is how you can get involved:
- Choose us as your charity of the year
- Develop a lasting partnership
- Set up payroll giving.
This is not only tax efficient for employees but also a simple way to raise money for the incredible work of The Mulberry Bush.
Whichever way you want to fundraise for us, we are here to help you all the way.

How to fundraise and promote your event
Creating an online fundraising page makes it a lot easier for your friends and family to support your event or challenge or to send the payment for your event. Simply set up a JustGiving page to share with all your supporters and the proceeds will be sent directly to us.
Click here to set up a JustGiving page for your event.
Tell your friends and family and don’t forget to give them a link to your JustGiving page.
Sending out invitations, putting up posters and using flyers is another good way of telling everyone about your fundraising.
Local shops will sometimes display your posters and you never know they might give you a raffle prize to support your event.
After your event or challenge
Thank you for taking part. Here's what to do next:
- Celebrate and thank your supporters
- Pay in your money – If you set up a JustGiving page the money comes directly to us. If you fundraised offline then our “how to pay in your money form” will give you further information
