The 16th The Women of the Year Lunch – St Hugh’s Oxford

On a warm Tuesday in September, 200 ladies gathered in the lovely garden of St Hugh’s College for pre-lunch drinks and were warmly welcomed by the Principal, Dame Elish Angiolini, the former Lord Advocate of Scotland and previously Solicitor General of Scotland.

After a scrumptious lunch the guests were entertained and deeply moved by the speakers, Julia Samuel and Diana Cavendish, who spoke about bereavement and life as the wife of a “responaut”. We are so grateful to the committee, our speakers and guests who again helped to raise spectacular funds for The Mulberry Bush.
