Sarah and her team will then lead us on a tour of the Chapel, beautiful and extraordinary historic grounds and gardens of Rycote, finishing with a glass of wine and lunch back in the barn.

Their work will be exhibited in the school from Tuesday 26th March.

All the children also ran or walked, over a mile in a Red Nose Day Fun Run, and each child received a red nose and a certificate.

On a recent visit to SEND they presented us with a cheque and very kindly hosted us at meetings and lunch with them. A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL OF THEM!

It was attended by over 100 people who had know Robin; family, friends and work colleagues. It was beautifully hosted by Robin’s family, with talks given by those who had known Robin well at different times in his life, punctuated with lovely music played by one of his daughters as part of a string quartet.

Robin was the director of the Mulberry Bush School between 1981 and 1991 and during this time had a profound impact on the lives of both the children and the staff team that he led. This period was brought to life with talks from both Richard Rollinson (ex-director) and Christine Warriner (ex-staff member). It concluded with refreshments giving those present the opportunity to share memories with colleagues, friends and family in celebration of Robin’s life.

We are very grateful to the Cotswold Voices for their visit and hope that we will do lots more together. We are so pleased that they enjoyed it so much and said:

“Although I enjoy every concert we do, for me this concert was the most worthwhile we have ever done.  When can we go back?” 


“Well worth doing the concert just to see the children happy and relaxed.”
