We were very honoured when His Grace, the Archbishop of Canterbury visited the school and officially opened our wonderful new adventure playground. The event was attended by kind supporters who had helped to raise the funds to build the playground.
Our eighth annual Mulberry Bush Oxfordshire Women of the Year Lunch was held at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford. We were delighted that Baroness Hayman the first Lord Speaker in the House of Lords made such a fascinating speech. Our other speaker was going to be Nell Gifford who created and runs her own circus but was unable to attend for excellent family reasons, so her sister Emma Bridgewater, who has her own china making business, very kindly replaced her and made a very moving speech. 240 women from all walks of life attended the lunch, including the Principal of Lady Margaret Hall Frances Lannon.Over the past 8 years this event has raised over £100,000.

We had a wonderful team entering the London Triathlon – they are Julie Walker, Jilly Bullock and Rob Cook who entered the “Sprint” 750m swim, 20km bike and 5km run, and Liz Harper, Ian Lapworth and Susannah Sheffield who competed in the ‘Olympic’ 1500m swim, 40km bike and 10km run. They all work for Oxford International which is a leading name in corporate meeting, event and conference management, and they have chosen us as their favoured charity. Between them they raised over £2,000!
